Two different types of hangers were considered: the standard jacket and shirt hanger, as well as a trouser hanger.
The hangers after being laser cut - Although the laser seemed to be quite harsh, I feel that they may not appear it once they've been spray painted.
Spray painting the hangers took a couple of layers, before the burnt marks did not appear.
The result turn out much better than I first thought:
