As mentioned in a previous post, i've been collecting books / magazines I could use for potential type revivals. Here is a sample of scans of books i've collected.
This old magazine was a perfect example for finding lots of potential typefaces, as it contains lots of adverts:

Conclusion
I feel like i've got plenty of examples to work with, all over a broad scale of different types of typefaces: stencils, serifs, sans serifs, blackletter, etc. The next step will be closing examples to trace, and begin create the start of typefaces.
