Obviously with Welsh & Jefferies being on Saville Row, a road KNOWN for it's tailors, it is vital that Welsh & Jefferies separate themselves from their competition. For this reason I have done some research into their competition.
Norton & Sons - Moving Brands
Norton & Sons is run by Patrick Grant, who recently came in to speak to Leeds College of Art students. Unforunately, since textiles and fashion students would obviously have priority, I could not get a ticket. However, I came across this branding project Moving Brands did for them.
Some market research I could steal:
The branding itself:
Gieves & Hawkes - Studio Small
As well as producing besoke suits, Gieves and Hawkes sell ready made suits. This may be the reason they have such a well designed and busy website:
Dege & Skinner
Davies & Son
Richard Anderson - Glazier Design
http://www.glazierdesign.com/index.php/Client-work/client-work-richard-anderson.html
Similar to Gieves and Hawkes, a complex and well designed website is available, as Richard Anderson also produced ready to wear suits.

Henry Bailey

http://www.cadandthedandy.co.uk
The simplicity and one page system works really well on the Henry Bailey website. This would be similar for Welsh and Jefferies, as it would simply be for showcasing work and contact information.
