As mentioned in the previous research post, we have chosen to look into 'A System of Play', which has now been combined with 'connectivity'.
I first looked at the idea of using transport and lines to create a system, using 90 degree curves and straight lines, as in below:
Will came up with the following ideas, which we all seemed to like:
From here I wanted to see how the shapes could be used as a graphic system, so below I created a map of the UK using these basic shapes. This could possibly be used in the posters:
We intend to present out current ideas in the crit with DBA. We currently feel that our concept feels slightly weak, but we're interested to see how DBA perceive it, and if there is any direction they see us moving in to.
